Diptyque

Perfume is memory. Like Proust’s madeleine, it awakens forgotten sensations. This short film traces the creative journey of Diptyque co-founder Yves Coueslant, as he recalls his childhood in Do Son, Vietnam. Like a haiku, it speaks more to the senses than to the rational mind. The interplay between reality and imagination invites the viewer into a sensory voyage, immersing them in the essence of Do Son. Accompanied by a print campaign, this film aspires to cultural resonance, with an original score by James Blake.
