Our mission on Chickenhare and the Secret of the Groundhog was to bring several key story moments to life through traditional 2D animation: those dedicated to the Chickenhare people and the founding myth of the magical marmot. Our challenge was to extend the 3D universe of the film while creating a distinct visual identity for the 2D sequences, offering a separate space where legend and memory could take shape. This mixed-media approach, initiated by Nwave, enriches the storytelling by opening the film to another layer of time, more symbolic and poetic.
